Bright, safari-themed rooms with free Wi-Fi, plus an indoor pool, a spa and a restaurant.

Stayed the Safari Hotel with view of the reserve.Room was lovely and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Looked lovely with all the christmas decorations up.Breakfast was also great. Good selection of food and the coffee machine was my saviour! We'll be back again next year!

Gorgeous hotel. Incredible views of the safari, really bizarre to eat your breakfast and watch zebras and giraffes out the window! Kids entertainment in the evening run by party hosts was brilliant. Food was amazing. Arcades in the hotel and a TV area with cushions.Early access to the park with every stay via a special entrance so you can take a leisurely stroll over in the morning. Will definitely be doing this again!

Another comfy stay! I've stayed 3 or 4 times now for business and always been satisfied. The location is good, the free parking is 👍🏾 Breakfast is reasonable and as it's included in the stay, makes it great value. The quality does vary at times - this time they had the better quality sausages, so I was able to have some (sometimes it's those cheap smooth ones 😬🤢). One bit of feedback is that there's no longer take away tubs. I bought my own this time, so that was fine. But the time before, I wasn't able to have breakfast because I didn't know they'd stopped providing them. The rooms are pretty generous in dimension, which is really nice and I've always found them to be pretty clean. I've dropped a star this time around, however, as the room was a bit 'tatty' (Room 334) - stained carpet, poor paintwork and basic repairs in the bathroom. Hate those little soaps too, liquid soap would be better - I have to use the shower gel from the shower to wash my hands. The shower gel smells lovely, so I like using that, but the dispenser is poor quality and the plunger doesn't come back up, you have to pull it up manually before you can push down.On the plus side - LOVE the Freddo chocs on the kids pillows - highlight of my stay they are! 😄 They were replenished this time, which was a surprise bonus. Usually I only get one lot on a 2 night stay 🙌🏽

Booked a 2 night stay. Booking was easy and checked in online which was great. However as we didn't speak to any staff on arrival, I felt that we missed some information such as hotel entertainment timetable and needing to book breakfast. The room was great and had a view over the zoo! Facilities were good and hotel guests have access to the zoo later into the evening. We missed our swim session as it clashed with our meal reservations at the restaurant. The hotel restaurant was expensive and service was poor, I'm not sure we would use again. Breakfast was fantastic and we had an amazing view of the zoo, watching the giraffes and zebras whilst munching on a full English breakfast! Would definitely recommend the hotel!

I strongly advise not booking a room at the Safari Hotel. There are some rather rude hotel employees. Since our large family checked in online and we have a lot of bags, the hotel just needs to provide our room number. I was given access cards and informed that the room was on the third floor. We moved the bags to the room on the third floor, where our access cards were invalid. I went back to tell the employee that. She acted like I was stupid and denied that she had specified the third floor before. She wrote a different room number on the card, and she claimed it was on the second floor. We moved all of the bags to the second level when we discovered that there were guests inside the room. The staff didn't believe us, so she had to go up to see for herself. She initially gave me the incorrect room number, and when they checked again, they discovered that our room was on the third floor. After all of this, they made no offer to assist with the bags.About the room, It was one of the hottest days of the year. The room is tiny, and the air conditioning isn't operating correctly. The heat kept me up at night. The shower is filthy, the bathroom has bd smell and there is a dead spider on the bathroom ceiling. The overall experience is very bad

Lovely one night stay here with 2 days at the park. The check in was a doddle, having done it online prior to arrival (there is a £5 deposit to pay when you arrive, which we didn't know about before hand). It was nice to get a text message to say our room was ready 2 hours early.Room was clean and spacious, kids loved the free treats on the beds when we arrived. Adequate size for 4.We did book a table for breakfast as the leaflet suggested it was mandatory, but was a little bit annoying that most people didn't bother and just wandered in to the restaurant and helped themselves to free spaces - leaving those who had booked to wait. But we were seated in a few minutes - could just do with policing better somehow.Checkout was simple and the location to the park was perfect. We didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening as the food prices seemed high and there are some lovely pubs in the area instead.

The reason for staying was where it is.Watching giraffes and antelope things at dinner and breakfast was nice. The staff were very efficient and organised. And the chargers in the car park were impressive in number and function, a factor if one wants the car charged for morning.

While its great having the hotel so close to the park, the service here leaves a lot to be desired. Several basic requests had staff members look very confused. There was seemingly a lack of staff, causing massive delays with checkin, delays with seating in the restaurant and confusion with park information. The rooms themselves were ok but a little on the dated side, the lack of plug sockets by the bed was frustrating and the bathroom felt tired. Getting to the room often was slow as the lifts took their time getting from floor to floor and the stairwell itself was a bit on the dirty and dim side. While there, only one of the two restaurants were open which caused chaos getting dinner and breakfast. Dinner was slow, we had to ask several times for things to get them, staff were unable to answer questions (We asked if vegan cheese could be used with the pizzas and instead of finding out, said staff member brought us an allergen sheet and stormed off).Honestly while it was comfortable enough and being right by the park was great, the tired rooms and issues with service doesn't make me want to return anytime soon.

Very nice staff and free candy floss when we entered the Hotel. We had room 128 and 133. In 128 everything was fine, besides the sink Clark not working. Room 133 smellt after chlor badly, we couldn’t even breathe normally. We only stayed one night and barely got some sleep, definitely wouldn’t recommend. But the craziest thing was a random girl running in our room and lying on my bed. We didn’t knew how to react, luckily her dad came and carried her away. Although it wasn’t the Hotels fault, i have to give one star less. After that we went at the pool, the changing rooms were very dirty. At the Pool the staff told us that a part of the pool had a too low chlorine level and I don’t know who teached them? I mean how can one part of the pool have less chlorine than the rest? Also the whirlpool was closed. At least they were kind and helpful and the water temperature was good. Dinner way too expensive… Burger like McDonald’s for 18.75 pounds drinks very small selection of drinks and food, don’t eat there, just go somewhere else.Breakfast was like in every other hotel, nothing special, staff gave us stickers and keybands.Summary: very kind staff, free candy floss, dirty cabins and floors, Whirlpool closed, Food way to expensive, room smells after chlorine very badly, random girl running in our room, staff giving away free stickers and keybands at breakfast.

Great place to stay with young children, nicely decorated, even the lifts inside and outside of lifts, corridor, we stayed in the giraffe room, was lovely view watching the zebras doing zooming and for breakfast if you get window view, you can see the animals right outside.Only downside was the hotel restaurant gets fully booked up too quickly, they can't cater for the amount of guests they have. But luckily you can order food from the uber eats and another app, the name escapes me.Rooms are available from 2.30pm but you can arrive early and put your luggage in hold if travelling by train or leave in car.If you want to get into the theme park for bang on 9pm as a early entry hotel guest, you have queue up from 8.20, and about 8.45 they slowly start checking everyone's tickets and giving out early pass wristbands. One one of the evening, they where giving out cotton candy to guests which was nice. The best part was during the day whilst kids where out enjoying themselves on rides, I was able to take a break and just loung about in the hotel lobby upstairs, they have nice sofa to rest on whilst having a great view. There is an arcade place to play whilst staying at hotel once the theme park is closed, so come with your loose change.

We stayed in the Capri Sun room with our 6 and 3 years old kids. The room looked absolutely stunning. But parents please be aware that the slide in the room is really steep and our kids got hurt few times. The splash pool/swimming pool/jacuzzi were amazing; the water temperature was perfect. Lovely staff. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Food wasn't memorable at all. Overall a beautiful fun hotel to keep the kids entertained. We will happily go back but not in the Capri Sun room.

Stayed in the Safari Hotel. The hotel is close to the park entrance, and the reception was friendly and helped answer any questions.Parking was straightforward. The standard rooms need a bit of care, they’re okay. Oreos were left on the pillows for the kids which they enjoyed.Hit and miss with the room views but there were two rooms with good views of the animals. One room with a view of the bins.Ate at the Zafari Bar & Grill restaurant, and only had a starter and dessert due to eating in the park. The starter was good and the dessert was a bit basic, microwave/quickly put together. Waiter’s provided a good service. The reason for the overall 3-star is due to the room conditions, they don’t complement the service from the staff and the rest of the hotel.

Amazing stay. Beautiful clean hotel. Excellent rooms and facilities. The staff very friendly and welcoming. It was my grandaughter birthday, and they even put her name on the display board and sang happy birthday to her at breakfast time. Excellent restaurant and top food. Breakfast time was an amazing buffet breakfast. 👌. Would definitely be staying here again 100%. Cannot fault it. Well done Azteca safari hotel. 👍👌.

So glad we booked at the resort hotel. Large carpark, great service and everything you need. The hotel was beautiful and we took part in the word hunt around both hotels which was an excellent way to explore and find/see things we wouldn't of discovered otherwise (like arcades, outside seating areas etc). The treasure prize at the end was really good too. The restaurant was lovely and we used the pool/splash area. Definitely book the pool and restaurant as soon as you can before it gets booked up. The room was really big and came with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/body wash/liquid soap/towels/hairdryer/fridge.

Me and my partner stayed in the giraffe theme room, we loved it, the theming was fun and we could see right onto the reserve from our room. The room was spotlessly clean with tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, and plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a very good sleep both nights we were there - which is unusual for us, the curtains certainly helped as they were black outs and it made the room wonderfully dark. The breakfast was buffet style and perfectly acceptable with offerings for a full English breakfast, to continental, fruit, yogurt, and cereal as well as tea, coffee, and juices. Our dinners were good, with large portions of tasty food and tasty desserts. There was unfortunately an issue with our dinner booking on our second night and our chosen restaurant shutting unexpectedly, but the staff made it possible for us to still be able to get some dinner. The staff on the whole were fabulous and really helpful, especially the VIP experiences team and the Safari restaurant staff who couldn't do enough for us.I would very much recommend staying at the safari Hotel- I'm already looking at booking our next stay!

Stayed in zebra room. The colours it was painted made the room feel very dark and oppressive. The rooms looked to have been repaint to a poor finish. Under one of the kids' beds, there was a barbie and under mine was a flying saucer sweet. Seems to be surface clean before each guest.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chessington Safari Hotel, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and accommodating. I stayed here to conduct a week long company training for 25 people. Donna was our event contact and she was absolutely fantastic. The hotel’s prime location, plentiful parking, ample meeting space, amenities, and service made this the perfect place for our training. Even the location made exploring London and other areas a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to here on my next visit. Highly recommended!!!
